To support the career objectives of the Qatari nationals, Qatar Steel offers scholarships to those who are highly motivated to take up higher studies. High School Graduates and Qatar Steel Employees seeking higher position are considered for the scholarship. Students are sponsored for education in Universities and Colleges, inside and outside Qatar, which are accredited by Supreme Education Council (SEC).

As required, administrative and financial supports are provided to all sponsored students and financial supports are provided to all sponsored students to ensure that highest standards of education is achieved successfully, and as a consequence, they can effectively work, promote and foster Qatar Steel’s growth in future.

The Internship Training Program, which lasts for maximum of 2 months, provides students from Universities or Technical Schools the opportunity to gather acquaintance to work in Technical or Non-Technical Departments at Qatar Steel, depending on the students’ field of study, their specialization.

This program helps students to bridge the academic education with practical implementation of knowledge through direct exposure at work and real-time experiences. It also helps to increase the students’ awareness and knowledge of the different functions and processes in Qatar Steel. It also acquaints them with the nature of Qatar Steel’s operations and are familiarized with the workplace functions & ethics.
