Qatar Steel is committed to implement national strategies, highlighted in the Qatar National Vision 2030, which aims at building a progressive society, capable to sustain growth and to provide high living standards for all members in the society.

As part of this commitment, Qatar Steel has set up of a strategy to effectively implement Qatarization policy, through providing promising jobs for Qatari nationals of either genders, developing and qualifying them to assume leadership positions in the company. Since we believe that the future of Qatar can be realized through investment in the national cadres, so it is our top priority to attract talented nationals, and groom them technically and administratively to take on the challenges of future.

Career Development Program

Career development programs executed by Qatar Steel aims to increase the knowledge, skills and abilities of the nationals at work. it facilitates them to groom and emerge as professionals for promotions or better pay.

Employees follow pre-determined steps along the career path to develop expertise in managing different types of organizational situations and to reach their career goal. Periodic checks evaluate progress, as well as determining what further training or experience is needed to move to the next step. These include training, job enrichment or enlargement. The assessment culminates in final reports featuring individual's strengths and development made through the program.
